Susan joined Iandoli Desai & Cronin in 2012, bringing with her over two decades of experience as a business immigration paralegal with both large and boutique law firms in the Boston area, as well as in-house experience at a software company. Over the years, Susan has developed a particular specialty with the PERM / Labor Certification process, as well as vast experience with the various temporary work visa categories. Susan holds a Bachelor’s in Italian with a Certificate in Translation/Interpretation from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Master’s in International Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. Susan has a passion for cooking, gardening and foreign languages, and enjoys her commute to the office the most on days when she is able to ride her bike.
Linda joined Iandoli Desai & Cronin in 2015 with several years of business immigration law experience at premier law firms in Boston and Atlanta, as well as experience working in-house for a local university. She has a wide range of experience with temporary visas as well as permanent resident cases. Linda holds a Bachelor’s in German from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and a Master’s in German from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She lived abroad in Germany and Austria and has a varied work experience outside of immigration law, including work in software, higher education, and with special needs children. Outside of work, Linda enjoys hiking, reading and discovering great restaurants – always in search of the perfect dumpling.
Towana has been with Iandoli Desai and Cronin since 2007. She has developed a specialty assisting employers and foreign nationals with the Labor Certification / PERM process, as well as adjustment of status petitions. Towana holds a Bachelor’s in Human Services from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, and a Master’s in Creative Writing from the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program at Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. In her spare time, Towana is a passionate, creative writer who enjoys travel.
Liz has been with Iandoli Desai & Cronin since 2013 and has developed a specialization in green card for professionals in various categories such as EB-1A Extraordinary Ability and National Interest Waivers, as well as family-based petitions. Liz holds a Bachelor’s Print & Multimedia Journalism (Science) from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. For many years, Liz was an Irish step dancer and performed at venues around the world. Although she is no longer dancing, Liz still enjoys music and travel.
Teodora Laptiste joined Iandoli Desai & Cronin in 2015 with over 24 years of customer service experience and 19 of those years working with law firms specializing in immigration law. She is highly experienced in family-based cases and enjoys the variety of employment-based cases the firm handles. As an immigrant herself, Teodora has both professional and personal experience dealing with the immigration services, so she strives to make the process for others as painless as possible. Teodora holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a focus in Criminology & Law and a minor in psychology from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including many weekends filled with watching her sons compete in high school sports.
Maya joined Iandoli Desai & Cronin in 2016 and has primarily focused on H-1Bs for a wide range of employers from small start-ups to large multi-national organizations to cap-exempt research think-tanks. She also prepares labor certification-based I-140 petitions, EB-1 and NIW petitions for our highly-accomplished clientele, as well as family and marriage-based permanent resident applications. Maya holds a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies from Newbury College in Brookline, Massachusetts and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Global Studies and International Affairs from Northeastern University. Maya enjoys reading and travelling in her spare time.
Jennifer joined Iandoli Desai & Cronin in 2016. She has been working as an immigration paralegal since 2009 and has developed a specialization in H-1B visas. She also enjoys EB-1A and EB-1B cases. Jennifer holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and is currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Legal Studies and Political Science at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
